One Foot Taller

A fantastic chance to be involved in the interior for the new Howden Park Centre which opened in spring 2009. We designed a sunken seating area along with Nicoll Russell, project architects, and a specially commissioned range of seating ‘mounds’ for a space to be inhabited by the West Lothian Youth Theatre. The mounds were made for us by Simon from Silo Design and Build who carefully brazed billions of wires to create a spiderweb of steel topped off with low low leather pads. Strong, light, elegant and durable… and even nesting, -shocker!
